IMPACT works within 6 prisons in South Ukraine.  Each prison has a population of between 1000-1500.

Within these prisons the conditions are very poor.  There is no heating with temperatures at times reaching -25 degrees centigrade.  The food is poor and there is severe overcrowding, up to 40 people may share 20 beds.

IMPACT goes into these prisons to evangelise, distribute humanitarian aid, food, clothing and medical aid.

Within each prison a church has been established.  As a result, there is now a growing Christian prison population.
